I know, I know, I've been sitting on this beautiful stash of bead soup from Lori of Lori's Glassworks for the upcoming Bead Soup Blog Party for a little while now, but I haven't been able to photograph it due to my health....
Pure. Torture!
Thankfully I had a somewhat good day yesterday and was able to capture the beautiful items she sent me in all their gorgeous, sparkly, bits-and-bobble glory. Just take a gander:
| Hungry for some bead soup! |
I can honestly say I don't think I've worked with anything so nice! My supplies are usually vintage or scavenged from thrift shops, Salvation Army and the occasional garage sale. On top of that, I've NEVER worked with lampwork beads, so this shall definitely be a challenge, which is what BSBP is all about.
Here are some closer looks at my treasures:
Alas, you all have to wait until August 11th to see what I create with all these colorful and magical components. Worry not though, you can check out what I sent Lori HERE and see what she makes with all of it on July 28th!
